In contemporary society, when citizens are kept in the
dark, they cannot exercise the discretion to impeach president that is spoiling
the country. Although this chapter was meant to argue that people should be
“ignorant” enough to guide the clever leadership of a sage, this chapter
provides an excuse for dishonest politicians to justify their daily
manipulation and distortion of truths. They seek to hide truths from citizens
of democracy.
